My daughter made herself lunch on the stove. Based on my recipe and one she found in a cookbook she browned the tortilla with cheese, salsa and shredded cooked chicken, flipped it (as I hovered over her... but she did it herself (better than I usually do) and browned the other side.
She also took the picture,

StrongHill
The boy and I went to StrongHill restaurant specifically as I had seen the frog legs on the menu several moths ago (really a long time ago). We showed up on a saturday, and it looked well patronized. Unfortunately the frog legs where gone from the menu, but we still ate well.
We shared two appetizers, Rabbit egg rolls
and fried sweet breads
both were very good... the boy ordered the braised rabbit as his main course, it was served with an apple and celery root puree which the boy thought was clever, and tasty.
I went with the special... scallops on polenta, very good.
Overall we liked it very much, the food was great, and the service responsive.

Churros con chocolate
We stopped for chocolate and churros at San Gines, a chocolate shop just off the Plaza Mayor in Madrid
The chocolate is very thick, just short of pudding
The churros are hot, and there is powdered sugar on the table to sprinkle.
It's not a stretch to say that the kids didn't complain.

Sardina a la plancha
Fresh sardines cooked "a la plancha" or on a griddle. We had lunch on the beach in Marbella. They where very flavorfull seasoned with garlic salt and pepper. Mi daughter wasn't as impressed.
She had the roasted chicken
My Wife and Son had the same thing, Calamar a la Romana, (fried squid)
Good food in a beatiful setting.
